Youth Guild
Youth Guild is dedicated to giving students a greater
involvement with the arts and supporting The Utah Symphony through
volunteer service activities.

Membership is open to families with children ages
8 to 18. While the Youth Guild encourages everyone to reap the many
benefits of learning to play an instrument, membership is open to
musicians and non-musicians alike.

YOUTH GUILD VOUCHER PROGRAM
A family membership entitles you to purchase vouchers to attend
four Utah Symphony concerts. A book of four vouchers for the 2007-2008
season is $16 per student and $32 per adult. Each voucher has a
variety of concerts from which you may choose. Only Youth Guild
members and their parents or grandparents have the option of buying
tickets at this special price. Vouchers will be mailed by early
September, or may be picked up at the Start-Up Celebration, or upon
receiving your order. Vouchers can be exchanged for tickets at the
box office.

Youth Guild Recital
Advanced students may wish to participate in the spring Youth Guild
Recital audition. Entrants must participate in two educational and
two service activities in order to participate. A separate audition
entry fee applies. Youth Guild recital winners are eligible for
Salute to Youth auditions in the fall. For information on recital

Pre-Concert Lectures
Pre-concert lectures are given in the First Tier Room at Abravanel
Hall before each of the Utah Symphony Masterworks performances.
Lectures begin at 7:15 and feature conductors, guest artists and
distinguished members of the community.
