A Concert for
Children with Autism & Their Families
Utah Symphony & Opera offers
an annual concert for children with autism, and their families.
We present this concert because we know that many families cannot
attend cultural events together because their autistic child (children)
acts in distracting ways. We feature our Opera Apprentice Artists
with the Utah Symphony on the Capitol Theatre Stage in a special
concert where everyone understands the difficulty of keeping these
children quiet in their seats.
This year's Concert will be
on May 15, 2008 at 7 pm.
Admission is FREE. Registration
is required. Please register below or by calling Lori Fisher at
801-869-9091.

We are delighted
you want to join us for our Concert for Children with Autism and
their Families on Thursday, May 15. The concert begins at 7:00 p.m.
in the Capitol Theatre (50 West 200 South) and will last approximately
45 minutes. You may have seen our flyers which announce a light
dinner starting an hour earlier, but unfortunately, we have had
such an overwhelmingly wonderful response to the concert invitation
that we have RSVPs for more people than the Capitol Theatre lobby
and mezzanine areas can accommodate for dinner. Because of house
rules, we cannot include any more people for the dinner. But please
do come between 6:45 and 7:00, get great seats, and enjoy the concert!
